Ryan Scott Brewer is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #117921, Yogi, and Coach who holds dual Master’s Degrees in Spiritual Psychology and Depth Psychology. With over 15 years of experience studying the mind/body connection, Ryan blends concepts and practices from Eastern philosophy like mindfulness and meditation in conjunction with Western advances in neuroscience and trauma recovery. Ryan is trained in EMDR which can greatly help desensitize and reprogram traumatic events. He also incorporates Internal Family Systems to help heal the parts inside that have been wounded and burdened from the past. Ryan has also been an advocate for Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy long before Michael Pollan's book hit the shelves! He has been trained by the Psychedelic Coalition for Health and MAPS to offer integration work from psychedelic experiences as well as facilitating Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy with an experienced physician in Santa Monica. For couples he uses concepts from Attachment Theory, Imago, EFT, and the Gottman Method to increase communication and relational healing.
